Westfalia Plates

I've had some people wondering how to paint the Westfalia sets.
While pretty obvious with some, it might be a right pain with others.

I tried to draw a first plate to shed light on the details. I took very loose reference in the
work over at "mount-st-jean" and I'm quite pleased with the result.

I'll upload them soon to the Westfalia site, but please let me first know what you think.

Regards,

Kawe

  1. Brilliant! I like the way you also have the side view of the coat alone, showing the detail of the coat-tails, cuffs and collar.

    1. Cheers! I was thining about adding more small details like Portepees etc.

Might attack that before I host it up to Westfalia.

  3. Love it! The rear view is the only thing that might be missing. I might have to barrow / hire your talents someday. :-)

    1. Glad you like it Jason. I was pondering with doing a view on the back, just there's no mentionable piece of uniform or equipment on the back of these lads.

Looking forward to what your "someday" project might be. :--)

  4. Absolutely brilliant! While I agree with der Feldmarschall that a rear view would be an added bonus on some other plates in the future, I don't think it is necessary here. Keep up the great work.
