Grossbeeren was one of the major battles that paved the way to the victory over the french emperor at Leipzig.
To us Berlinians it was even more since the ever so angry Buelow
managed to stop and seriously damage Reyniers 7th Korps with an all prussian force right in front of the prussian capital.
The wargamer certainly will like the wide choice of uniforms as there was French, Saxons, Wuerttembergers, and on the other side Prussian line and reserve formations fleshed out with the newly raised Landwehr present on the field. And yes, I admit there also was a russian 12pounder battery and a swedish horseartillery battery roaming around.
