I think every painter needs to tackle a Battalion of Bardin-French at some point. There's nothing more pleasant than painting some WW2 afterwards! :--)

That is a beautiful (and monstrous) battalion - bravo! Wonderful paintwork. I really like these castings. The standard bearer with the cased colours is a nice touch.
