More Old Glory

I finished my unit of Janissaries by attaching 2 groups of Arab Militia.

Next up is (finally) some Westfalia-stuff I was receiving from Niels.
Sled-gun here I come!

New Saxon Musketeers

Progress on the Saxon-front is a bit slower than expected. Yet things fall into place with the guns and carts being almost ready.

Now I have the pleasure to present you with the upcoming Saxon Musketeers in campaign-dress. They have a rather realistic mixture of headress and are meant to add some variety to the existing formation.

turkish Janissaries

I am painting these for a buddy and I have to admit that I really like these chunky blokes.

Saechsischer Patronenwagen

I've seen this vehicle for the first time in a book that was released before Germany got reunited for the 10th time. There was a Patronenwagen (Ammunition carrier) for the Infantry and the Cavalry. The 'Hauptpark' of the army had more than 80 such vehicles, which must've made them a very common sight.

I personally love the Trittbretter as well as the nice texture of the side-parts.

The wheels are Bavarian from my knowledge since our own Saxon wheels will only turn up on tuesday! :--)

50K page-views

I'd say that's a perfect opportunity to celebrate!

Feel free to join into the fun by commenting below or by sending an email to info@westfaliaminiatures.com and tell us something you'd normally say on a funky party!

The first 25 to write either per email or leave a comment will receive one of our Cantinieres for free! (Obviously another miniature is fine too:-) You must be alright with being announced as a winner however!

I am looking forward to the next 50k!

Your ever so grateful Kawe

How obscure can it get over at Westfalia?

Bloody damn obscure! At least if men of the caliber of our valued Costumer Alexander Baden come to make suggestions.

What we see below is a Coach used by the French imperial Post Services. Iit's still in the middle of development, but I really thought this should be shared.

The model is part of Napoleons HQ which is a most interesting topic but certainly something with limited Gaming-value.

And that's that :--)

Cossack / Opolchenie - Gun Sled.

Cossacks come extra for those that like to change their sets.
